It is my great pleasure to welcome you to International Congress of Endoscopic Laparoscopic Surgeons of Asia (ELSA) 2024 to be held in Bali, Indonesia from August 14 to 17, 2024, our most beloved and most beautiful island.
Since the first congress, our congress has grown into one of the most authoritative congresses while remarkably contributing to the advancement of techniques of minimally invasive surgery. ELSA is the best place for all the surgeons, especially in Asia, to collaborate and to build relationships for the future of minimal invasive surgery.
This will follow in the footsteps of previous congresses and continue to abide by its standard of excellence. Under the theme of “Culture meets Science” our congress committee will organize our programs to gather all surgeons in Asia who are interested in the field of endoscopic surgery.

This invitation is extended on behalf of the Endoscopic Laparoscopic Surgeons of Asia (ELSA) and is proudly cohosted by the Indonesian Society of Endo-Laparoscopic Surgeons (ISES/PBEI). The primary objective of this annual Congress is to facilitate the dissemination and promotion of updated knowledge in minimally invasive surgery, fostering open dialogue among all participants.
We specifically chose Bali as the venue due to its strategic location, easy accessibility with direct flights from prominent cities worldwide, visa on arrival facilities for 93 countries, and robust infrastructure.
With Bali’s reputation and convenient access, we are confident that the International Congress of ELSA 2024 will set a new record in terms of participant numbers. The recently renovated spacious international airport, the newly constructed direct toll road from the airport to every destination in Bali, coupled with the warmth and hospitality of our people, will ensure the smooth progress of the meeting and the comfort of all participants.
